Photography exhibit at Hartsfield-Jackson focuses on human trafficking survivors

A traveling art exhibit with portraits of human trafficking survivors is making a week-long stopover at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s domestic terminal atrium.

The portraits by photographer J.Shotti are of 20 women from across the country who are survivors of human trafficking, with a focus on their accomplishments “as an antidote to the stereotypes” of victims, according to a description of the exhibit from Girls Education and Mentoring

As Delta Air Lines renovates its gate areas at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, one feature is gaining unexpected attention: Seats that some passengers say are too hard and uncomfortable.

Delta and Coke launch flying “art gallery” on airplane tray tables

Atlanta corporate giants Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola Co. have partnered on an unusual art project — on airplane tray tables.

The two companies worked with 12 artists around the world to transform the tray tables on a Boeing 767 into art. On that plane, the designs will be in place at all of the coach class and Comfort+ seats for about a month.
