In an unusual piece of corporate performance art, Delta Air Lines is conducting a 50-hour Facebook Live video to read the names of all of its 80,000 employees.
The premise of the stunt by Delta is to say thank you to its employees before the start of the busy summer travel season.
The Facebook Live started at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning showing pre-recorded videos of celebrities, athletes and business leaders reading the names, with 450 participating including comedian Jeff Foxworthy, producer Jeffrey Katzenberg and Coca-Cola chairman Muhtar Kent.
A separate website aims to tell employees when their names will be read.
The read-off of names is also broken up by a balloon animal maker, a mime, jugglers, caricaturist, ice sculptor, puppies, a balloon drop, champagne and other things.
