In the wake of the truck attack on Thursday night in Nice that left 84 people dead and more than 200 wounded, Delta Air Lines is waiving certain change fees for customers who want to change their travel plans to the French resort.

Delta operates nonstop flights to Nice from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Customers with flights booked to or from Nice from July 15 to 18 can change their tickets without paying certain change fees.

Delta said it had crew members staying in a hotel close to the attack on the crowd watching Bastille Day fireworks, but said its employees including three pilots, eight flight attendants and customer service workers are confirmed safe.

“Delta maintains many security practices on the ground and during flight to reinforce the safety and security of its customers and employees as its top priority,” the airline said in a written statement.
