Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed will hold a press conference Monday to discuss “recent personnel changes,” after ousting both the manager of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the leader of Atlanta’s water and sewer department.
Late Friday evening, a statement from the mayor’s office announced that Miguel Southwell, general manager of Hartsfield-Jackson, will no longer lead the airport. Roosevelt Council, the airport’s chief financial officer, will serve as interim general manager of the airport.
Reed announced Saturday that Jo Ann Macrina was removed as commissioner of the city’s Department of Watershed Management. William Johnson, the city’s deputy chief operating officer, will serve as interim commissioner.
