Nearly a year after the Atlanta airport opened its new international terminal, it is already planning for the next expansion. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport's master plan study shows the airport will soon need more parking, and will also need more people-mover train capacity inside the terminal, more security screening line space, more gates and more airfield capacity - such as another runway -- in the next 20 years JASON GETZ / JGETZ@AJC.COM

Here’s a travel tip for those who park in the public garages and lots at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Can’t find your car in an airport-run parking lot?

If you were parked overnight or longer, airport parking staff can help you find your car, thanks to a nightly inventory of license plates done by workers.

Find an emergency information call box in the parking lot for courtesy assistance services. They can also help with jump starts.
