For years, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has been sitting on dormant land surrounding the airfield, as well as massive tracts it owns in Dawson County and in Paulding County.

The land around Hartsfield-Jackson is part of a vision for an “aerotropolis” of commercial development.
