Even before the holiday crush of Thanksgiving travelers, wait times for sit-down restaurants on some concourses can be as long as a half-hour during peak hours at the world’s busiest airport, which handles more than 250,000 passengers a day.

Fast-food and quick-service concessions at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport often have shorter waits, but lines at Starbucks and the most popular eateries sometimes snake onto the concourse.
